Making Canon IP Pixma to work in Ubuntu Intrepid Ibex

Hi again,

Here we come again with a useful way to install the printer Canon PIXMA IP1500.

I will follow you through the steps:

• sudo gedit /etc/apt/sources.list
• deb http://mambo.kuhp.kyoto-u.ac.jp/~takushi/ubuntu ./
• sudo apt-get update
• sudo apt-get install libcnbj-2.5 bjfilter-2.5 pstocanonbj

                It is posible that apt complains about installing pstocanonbj.
                        If this happens, download the packet, libcupsys2-gnutls10 from the Debian repositories and it.
                Once you have done this, go to  http://localhost:631

And install the printer, taking care to choose the driver

Canon PIXMA iP1500 Ver.2.50
